We're here to help

The Herefordshire Veterans Support Group consist of a small group of veterans who have all been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and are dedicated to supporting other veterans within Herefordshire. Since leaving the Armed Forces, these veterans between themselves have experienced a wide range of problems and understand the complexities of adapting to living within the civilian system on a daily basis, which can be to some a vital link within the community.

Their aims are to promote the health and wellbeing of veterans within Herefordshire

  • to be able to network with local authorities, also charities whose aims are to support veterans, Ssafa, RBL, The Warrior Programme and Combat Stress

  • to be able to signpost veterans to those agencies and offer support where we are able

The group meetings provide a safe and friendly place to talk

  • to offer support, as well as advice

  • a place of trust where veterans can talk confidentially about their own issues and discuss the symptoms of PTSD and how it affects their daily lives

  • it is a place where you can build friendships and socialize with like minded people

The group is open to all veterans and their wives, partners and loved ones.

The meetings will be held  at SAXON HALL, Hoarwithy Road, Hereford on the

2nd Friday

of every month:  19.00 hrs - 21.00 hrs.

Come share in our thoughts, ideas, supportive information over a cup of tea and a chat.
